Hi, I’m Moha!
I have always been fascinated by people’s stories of resilience - how some people are able to get back up and keep pushing even when life is going sideways.
I believe that as human beings, we are all hardwired to overcome challenges and thrive. My role as a counsellor is to help you discover this inner resilience, realize your potential, and take charge of your life.
Having grown up and lived in different parts of the world, I learned to adapt quickly and take control of my life regardless of what life threw my way. These experiences have inspired appreciation of individual creativity and diverse cultural perspectives in me, which inspires the approach I take with my clients and in my life.
I work from a blend of emotionally-focused, acceptance-and-commitment, somatic, and cognitive-behavioural therapies.
This means that I view my clients as being shaped by key life experiences, such as important relationships and key life events. I believe that we are all hardwired to thrive in difficult situations and sometimes certain patterns that might have been necessary for them to survive during hard times might not be helpful anymore.
My role as a counsellor is to help clients identify these patterns and build more adaptive ways of being. Through my own experience as a client, I have first-hand witnessed the role a supportive and empathetic presence can play in helping one discover their hidden potential and take charge of their life.
