Hi, I’m Moha Chaturvedi.

I’m so glad you’re here.

I am a therapist offering counselling in BC, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. I specialize in eating disorders, sex therapy, pregnancy and postpartum, and complex trauma, with the bulk of my practice focusing on the experiences of folks who self-identify as women or non-binary.

I have an MA in Counselling Psychology and I have completed an EMDRIA-approved training in EMDR. I have also completed relationship therapy training from the Gottman Institute and the ICEEFT. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherspists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist-Qualifying (RP-Q).

I believe that meaningful change unfolds through connection, within ourselves and in relationship with others. Because of this, I consider the therapeutic relationship to be at the heart of our work. It matters that you feel a sense of fit between us, and that you feel seen, understood, and free to bring your full, authentic self into the room.

We come to therapy as whole people, not just as clients. Alongside my professional training, my lived experience as a daughter, partner, friend, immigrant, and a survivor of sexual assault and an eating disorder, shapes my therapeutic work.

My practice is grounded in the understanding that our past shapes how we experience ourselves and others in the present. Early family dynamics and significant life experiences often continue to influence how we relate to partners, colleagues, friends, and children. I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore and process these stuck places, connect them to current challenges, and create meaningful shifts through new experiences in therapy.

I am also guided by the belief that we cannot tend to the mind without including the body. Past pain and wounding can live on as patterned emotional responses and physical symptoms. When we work with the whole person, mind and body together, it opens the door to deeper and more sustainable change.

My Approach

My approach to counselling combines my background in research with my love for truly connecting with people. I have trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. These modalities draw from research in neuroscience, developmental psychology, and trauma psychology.

As an immigrant who also moved a lot growing up, I have learned to adapt to, and connect with folks from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I am a naturally curious and outgoing person, with a love for people and their stories.

I believe that healing is relational. This means that healing occurs through safe, predictable, and positive connections with others. As a therapist, I aim to provide you with a warm and secure connection where you can express your deepest fears, learn to trust, say things out loud that might feel too heavy to acknowledge otherwise, and develop a stronger sense of self.

I'm here to collaborate with you in your healing journey, and I'm genuinely excited about the possibility of working together. If you're looking for more satisfaction, greater alignment with your values, and the confidence to move toward the life that's meant for you, then let's talk.

Who I Work With

I work with adults from all walks of life, with a strong commitment to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ and IBPOC clients who identify as women and non-binary. I meet you where you are, whether you are navigating:
